Chandigarh takes action against Uber and Rapido, licences suspended over policy non-compliance
Chandigarh has suspended the aggregator licences of Uber and Rapido for six months, with the State Transport Authority (STA) citing continued non-compliance with the Chandigarh Administration Motor Vehicles Aggregators Rules, 2025. The orders were issued on Tuesday, September 8.
