India likely to hit peak of 6.45 lakh active cases on Aug 21: India Outbreak Report

India is currently the third worst-hit country in the world by the Covid-19 pandemic, after the US and Brazil, with 3,11,565 active cases as per the government’s mygov.in portal on Tuesday. According to the Times Fact-India report, another model — SEIR (Susceptible Exposed Infected Recovered) — projects the peak at 6.98 lakh active cases on Aug 23.
