States with a high urban population will be under special focus. Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Telangana could see a spike in the next month as they lag behind on testing parameters. PM Modi may also call for increased testing, screening and medical infrastructure, with a focus on urban centres.
