Wider, aggressive testing at core of Lockdown 2.0 plan

At present, the number of samples being tested are between 21,000 and 30,000 a day. The government plans to increase this to 80,000 per day by the end of April. This will form the basis of marking red hotspot zones, yellow potential hotspots and green zones.
