Covid-19: CM Yogi appeals for putting on hold religious functions; VHP downsizes Ayodhya celebrations

The statement from the CM has come ahead of Ramnavmi on April 2 — a culmination of the nine-day celebration held with a lot of fervour across the country— especially in Ayodhya. Lakhs of people from over 200 villages flock the city to attend the Ramnavmi mela—an event spread across three days.
