Covid-19 challenge: India works on 3-month plan, to stagger dole

The government believes a clearer assessment on the extent of community transmission in India will be available in the next two weeks as results from testing come in. At least 14 ministries have drawn up plans that are being assessed along with those of the states. Govt is also mulling advance payments for the rural jobs scheme and PM-KISAN.
