PDS biggest saver for government in DBT in 2019-20

As as much as Rs 19,263 crore or nearly 70 per cent of Rs 28,700 crore savings till end-December have accrued due to the DBT-linked PDS, under which duplicate and fake ration cards are being eliminated to plug leakage of subsidy, government officials said.
